Anna Tiggidou was born in Lefkara, attended the Parthenagogeio Faneromenis, and studied dentistry at Ecole Dentaire de Paris. She became the first Cypriot dentist and upon her return to Cyprus, she opened a dental practice in Larnaca (1923-1939). During World War II, she relocated to Lefkara, where she continued her practice until the end. She participated in the Panhellenic Dental Congress in Athens (1955) and married the teacher Achilleas Michael Tiggidis from Lefkara.
