Female governors of Salamanca

Doña Leonor de Aragón (1358-1382) was Lady of Salamanca for one year, a position she held when her husband, Juan I, succeeded her father Enrique II of Trastámara in 1379. Her death in 1382 endangered peace between Aragon and Castile.
